Family history has always been a part of my life. My grandma has done genealogy since before I was born, and her mother long before her. I didn't know that I had such a love for genealogy, I always thought it was for old people. I soon came to realize that family history was part of all of us. In everything we do every picture we look at and story we hear to the photographs we take ourselves. Memories we make every day will be part of your family's history.

I always loved hearing stories of ancestors.  Genealogy became a bigger part of my life about eleven years ago, before I had kids and I was "in love" with my grandparents love story. I began learning everything I could about their lives, which then lead me to learn about their parents and so on. When I became a mom I read my great-grandmother's journal and realized that she had a lot of traits and qualities that I have.

My love for family history has just grown from there. I love learning all about my ancestors and find that their experiences directly affect my life and I've learned so much from their trials. I love making memories with my family and hope that my journaling, and photos will have an impact on my own decendants someday.
