My baby Charlotte Viola was born January 15, 2015. She was our surprise and an angel for our family. She has made our family complete and we are so thankful for that little girl. Just last night she had a horrible night sleeping. I was tired wanted to go to sleep and I just held her rocking her and thinking how happy I am to have my kids and husband. I feel so blessed  and to be entrusted as their mom. 

When we found out we were having a baby we chose to have it be a surprise whether it was a boy or a girl. If we were having a boy I only had one name for him, for a girl I had the name I wanted and then a few other ideas. I really wanted to see my baby to know for sure. 

My delivery was a little scary and had some complications after it was calm and I was feeling well again I knew her name. Charlotte Viola. I named her Charlotte for the reason you may have guessed my favorite book growing up Charlotte's Web. 

"You have been my friend." replied Charlotte. "That in itself is a tremendous thing." Wilbur said about Charlotte. "She was in a class by herself. It is not often that someone comes along who is a true friend and a good writer. Charlotte was both."

Viola is after my great grandmother Viola Stout. She passed away when I was 18, so I got to see hr most of my growing up years. It wasn't until I was a mother and I read her journal that my love for her grew even more. She was a survivor, a fighter, and a woman of faith. After losing both a newborn baby and her three year old daughter, only a couple months apart, she recorded this in her journal. "What would we do without the gospel? The hope, comfort and assurance. thsi was a year my doubts and beliefs fought the battle of faith and despair...Thanks to that special gift the Lord gave us, FAITH won, I became comforted." -Viola Stout

When I look at Charlotte I think of her namesake and I pray that she will be a friend to all and always have hope, comfort and faith.
